Write and read company articles

Articles are your company's own knowledge base — "How to claim travel expenses", "Our WFH policy", "Setting up VPN". HR can write and manage them, and employees can write too if HR allows it. (These are separate from this Help Center.)

Read articles (employees)

1. Go to Engage → Articles ( open Articles).
2. Home shows Recent articles and the Most popular ones. Use the search box to find a topic.
3. Categories lists every category with its number of articles — click one to see its articles.
4. Click an article to read it. Each employee's visit is counted once in the article's views.

Write an article (employees)

1. Click Create new article (or open the Manage tab).
2. Enter the Title, choose a Category and add an optional Summary.
3. Write the Body using the editor (headings, lists, links and basic formatting).
4. Click Save draft to keep it private, or Publish to make it visible to everyone.
5. Find your articles under Manage, where you can edit, publish, unpublish or delete them.

Manage articles (admins)

1. Go to Engage → Articles in the admin portal ( open Articles). Any admin can read articles; changing them needs engage.manage.
2. The cards show Published, Drafts and Total views. Filter by search text, status and category.
3. Click New article to write one; click Save or Publish.
4. Use the row icons to Publish / Unpublish or Delete any article, including ones employees wrote.

Categories and settings (admins)

1. Open the Categories & settings tab.
2. Add a category with Add, rename one with Rename, or delete one (its articles become uncategorised). New companies start with General, Policies & How-tos, Onboarding and Tools & IT.
3. Under Settings, tick or untick Employees can write and publish articles and click Save.
