Moderate the employee feed

Employees can post and comment on the Home feed. Feed moderation lets HR see every post and remove ones that break your company's rules.

Before you start

• You need the engage.manage permission to remove posts or comments. Without it the page is view-only.

Steps

1. Go to Engage → Feed Moderation ( open Feed Moderation).
2. Posts are listed newest first with the author, date, where it was posted (Organization or a department), likes and comments.
3. To find something specific, type in Search posts or authors and click Search.
4. To remove a post, click Remove and confirm. It disappears for everyone.
5. To remove a single comment, click the bin icon next to it and confirm.

Reports and the abuse filter

• Abusive words are refused. Posts, comments and wishes with slurs, sexual content or threats can't be posted (web and app). Borderline words are allowed but flagged to you automatically.
• Employees can report any post or comment from the app. It's hidden for them straight away and every moderator (admins and anyone with engage.manage) gets a notification.
• Act within 24 hours. Open Feed Moderation → Reports ( open Reports), or Approvals in the mobile app. Click Remove to take it down for everyone, or Keep to dismiss the report.
• Employees can block each other: neither sees the other's posts, comments or wishes. Blocking never affects approvals, the directory or payroll.
