Move candidates through the hiring pipeline

Each job has a pipeline board — a column per stage with a card for each candidate. Moving a card between columns is how you record progress.

Your company's pipeline is created the first time you open Hiring:

Before you start

• You need hiring.manage to move candidates.

Steps

1. Go to Hiring → Job Openings and click the job ( open Job Openings).
2. The Pipeline card shows a column per stage with a count. Each card shows the candidate's current role, experience, rating and next interview.
3. To move a candidate, drag the card to another column, or use the Move to… list on the card.
4. When you move someone to Rejected, enter a Reason and click Reject.
5. Click a candidate's name to open their full profile.

Other things on the job page

• Add candidate — add a new applicant to this job.
• Job description and Details — the role information you entered.
• Edit, Close job / Reopen — manage the job itself.

Candidates who have already been converted into employees show an Employee badge and can no longer be moved.
