When a candidate clears the interviews, create an offer from their profile. Attendex builds a formatted offer letter with your company details that you can print or save as PDF and send to the candidate.

Before you start

  • The candidate must not be rejected or withdrawn.
  • You need the hiring.manage permission to create or update offers (hiring.view can print).

Create the offer

  1. Open the candidate's profile ( open Candidates).
  2. In the Offer card, click Create offer.
  3. Enter the Offered CTC (₹ / year) and Joining date (both required). The CTC starts from the candidate's expected CTC.
  4. Choose the Department and Designation.
  5. Set the Probation (months) (default 6) and any Additional terms, such as a joining bonus or relocation.
  6. Click Save offer.

The offer is saved as a Draft and the letter appears in the card. If the candidate was in an earlier stage, they move to Offer automatically.

  1. In the Offer card, click Print / PDF. The letter opens in a new tab.
  2. Click Print / Save as PDF and choose your printer or "Save as PDF".
Note

Attendex does not email the offer for you. Send the PDF to the candidate yourself, then record it as below.

Track the offer

FromButtonResult
DraftMark as sentStatus becomes Sent.
SentAcceptedStatus becomes Accepted — you can now convert the candidate.
SentDeclinedStatus becomes Declined. You can create a New offer.

While an offer is Draft or Sent you can still Edit it. An accepted offer can no longer be changed.

Next: Convert a hired candidate into an employee.
