Your company address and custom domain
How your yourcompany.attendex.in address works, what happens if it changes, and how to use your own domain such as hr.yourcompany.com.
Each company on Attendex has its own address, like yourcompany.attendex.in. It shows your company's name and logo on the sign-in page and accepts only your company's accounts. You can also ask for your own domain, such as hr.yourcompany.com.
Your company address
- It is created from your company name when you sign up, and switched on by the Attendex team.
- Admins sign in at
yourcompany.attendex.in/admin/login; employees atyourcompany.attendex.in/member. - Your logo from Settings → Organization → Company appears on the sign-in page — see Set up your company details and statutory IDs.
- Once your address is live, anyone who signs in on the main Attendex address is moved to your company address automatically.
- Invite and password emails always link to your company address.
If your address changes
If your company is renamed and Attendex changes your address, the old address keeps redirecting to the new one for 90 days. Ask everyone to update their bookmarks during that time.
Use your own domain
- Decide on the domain you want, for example
hr.yourcompany.com. - Contact your Attendex account manager with the domain.
- Add the DNS record Attendex gives you at your domain provider.
- Wait for Attendex to confirm the domain is verified and secured with HTTPS.
- Share the new address with your employees.
Once your custom domain is verified, it becomes your company's main sign-in address and sign-ins elsewhere are moved there. Your attendex.in address keeps working too.
Biometric devices and the attendance API don't depend on your company address — they keep working when it changes. See Attendance & shifts and Create and manage API keys.
